2014 BBQ Bash - 064

I will do a recap later, but right now I wanted to throw something up so all of you can see how you did. It was a TOUGH competition this year with the winners of all three categories doing so with a perfect score of 225. I’ve never seen that before. So for those of you that didn’t leave with some hardware, just remember that the guys that did were all on their A game and then some. I hope you were able to walk around and sample some of the other teams wares and learn a tip or two to help improve your product so that you will be back next year for the Grillin’ Fools Sixth Annual Backyard BBQ Bash because I guarantee we’ll be stepping up our game. We’ve already started talking about what it will take to make the event even better next year.

Here are the final results. Please not that any time there was a tie, the team that was in yellow was the actual winner of the tie even though most of the time that team is below the other team that tied: Grillin Fools Scoring Spreadsheet Recap Final

Thank you all for coming out and making this event so special. Everyone tells me it is a great event, but I don’t see that as something I do to make it so special. It’s because of the people that show up to share and grill and talk and imbibe that makes the event so great. I hope to see each and every one of you next year. In the meantime, I have to get back to grilling and posting more recipes on this site that I have neglected for so long. See all of you next year if not sooner. Thanks again for coming out!

@STLDanni I have the @FizzicsGroup & it has changed my life. It sorta ruins beer that is not poured through it. They have a new one out too - 9 mins ago
