I have to say that when Dad mentioned that he slathered some chicken with mayonnaise and put it on the grill I was more than a bit skeptical. He raved about it, but I was leery. The notion of heat and mayo made me nervous. I brought it up to a coworker, Shane, who said [...]

Arthur is back for more grillin, chillin and thrillin. This time he’s all about the sausage. Arthur’s the only guy I know that looks forward to a sausage fest after work. But after reading these two recipes, you may be up for one yourself. I’ll hand it over to him for [...]

Pecan-Smoked Beef Brisket has become quite the family favorite when we get together. This year, on our annual trip to cool Michigan, I’m at it again with a couple of twists. I also did baked beans, or in this case smoked beans, on the grill.

Here’s another installment from Arthur Aguirre. The guy has some serious BBQ (and photography) skills. In this post Arthur attacks one of the rising phenomenons of BBQing – The MOINK ball. Sorry to tease but I have to show you what I did over the weekend. I reverse seared pork steaks and they may have been the best I’ve ever made. I don’t have the full write up yet or the rest of the pics, but I can show you this pic. Check out the smoke [...]

Barbecued Chicken with…White Sauce?? That’s right! I had to do a double-take myself when I came across this recipe by author Chris Lilly in Big Bob Gibson’s BBQ Book. Big Bob’s Alabama BBQ joint was famous for his chicken dipped in White Sauce. Chris Lilly is a world-champion pitmaster who learned the trade at Big [...]

Outside of full on family barbecues where we are feeding the masses all three Grillin Fools don’t get to grill together all that often. But recently we decided to celebrate our new sponsor, Andria’s Steak Sauce, with the oh so appr0priate prime rib done with an Andria’s flare. My dad did the grilling and will [...]
