Guys, Grills and Good Health for St. Luke’s Hospital
For the second year the Grillin Fools will be the grills in Guys, Grills and Good Health. Here’s a link to last year’s event. Well, technically, we’ll be guys and cooking up some healthy eats, so I guess we’re all three.

The event has grown from last year and is at a new location. It’s going to be at Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis at 13700 Manchester Road from 6-7:30 PM on Thursday June 16th.
If you were there last year, you know we didn’t stop what we were doing at 7:30. I think we went on for a good hour after the event was to end. And considering that we have a better handle on how the event went having one under our belt, I feel we’ll be able to pack a lot more in that time than we did last year.
The menu is set. We’re going to keep it simple this year. Last year we weren’t able to get through everything, so we’re going to simplify. If we make any changes we will update here and Facebook and twitter:
- Grilled Lettuce (that’s not a typo and hugely popular)
- Pear or Apple Tart (depending on which looks better at the store)

We will be doing live demonstrations on exactly how to cook these items and giving out samples of the finished products. You will be amazed at how simple they are to make and how delicious they are to eat, and healthy to boot.
But there’s more than just us doing live demos:
- Ferguson Brewing Company will be doing beer tastings.
- Villa Farotto Restaurant will be giving out samples.
- Golf demos and instruction from Steve Spray.
- Fly Fishing demos from Outdoors, Inc.
- Hair Saloon for Men will be giving free hair cuts depending on time and availability.
- Free Chair massages.
- Meet Randy Karraker from 101.1 ESPN Radio.
Win tickets to a Cardinals game, detail service and a 24 hour car rental from Mungenast Lexus, and a $100 gift card to Hair Saloon.
Cost is $25/couple ($15/person) and you need to pre-register at www.StLukes-stl.com or call 314.542.4848.
